SET DECORATION

  • Selecting, sourcing, and arranging set dressing elements that reflect character, context, and cinematic language.​​

  • Efficient in managing on-set logistics and coordinating with props, locations, and camera departments to ensure continuity, spatial clarity, and on-screen readability.

  • Experienced in leading and delegating within the Set Dec team—overseeing buyers, dressers, and trucks to maintain workflow, budget accuracy, and creative cohesion.

SET DESIGN

  • Rooted in visual storytelling and spatial design—translating narrative beats into dimensional environments that support character, tone, and cinematography.

  • Pre-production work includes drafting scenic plans, creating 3D models and concept decks, researching architectural styles, and collaborating closely with the Production Designer to ensure visual cohesion.

  • Skilled in generating scaled construction drawings, technical elevations, and material references to guide build teams and scenic departments from concept through final execution.

  • Experienced in adapting designs for locations, stage builds, and hybrid environments—considering structural integrity, camera movement, and lighting design.

PROP FABRICATION

  • Skilled at interpreting scripts and collaborating with directors, production designers, and set decorators to determine all prop requirements

  • Passion for researching, sourcing, fabricating, and modifying props to align with the production’s aesthetic, period, and story needs
     

  • Creation and maintenance of detailed prop lists, breakdowns, and continuity documentation for each scene
     

  • Makes sure props are prepared, placed, and maintained for each setup, and collaborated with actors for proper use on camera
     

  • Able to manage the prop budget, including purchases, rentals, and returns, while tracking costs and staying within financial constraints​​​

  • Experience using laser cutters, 3D printers, vinyl printers, UV ink printers, and woodworking tools

MODELMAKING

  • Driven by precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to bring abstract concepts into tactile, scaled environments.

  • Ability to translate technical drawings, storyboards, and visual references into build-ready schematics and miniature mockups.

  • Skilled in a wide range of materials and techniques—woodworking, vacuum forming, mold-making, laser cutting, 3D printing, and hand-finishing.

  • Focused on scale, proportion, and detail—ensuring each model supports worldbuilding, narrative clarity, and design communication.
